Was reading a "strategy" case and after coming across the word "Strategy" quite often, i'm beginning to wonder what would happen if we ban this word from the MBA vocabulary.....My bet is there would be serious consequences.
Just look around and you'll realise what i mean. You constantly hear of Strategic Marketing, Strategic Sourcing, Strategic Management, Strategic ..........the list keeps growing. But are everyone really talking startegy or just add the buzzword to make it look/sound a bit more jazzy.
It would really help if all MBA (your's truly included) get rid of all jargons and start talking stuff that can reach everyone. We can try to impress someone with all the buzzwords.But it wont help, if we dont make sense or the other person does not understand.
